I think breaking up the fights for zoro and sanji was done to get the tension from sanji potentially hitting a woman and asking zoro to put him down if his attitude changed. I think it would have fallen completely flat if the setup and reveal were back to back. Might be a missed opportunity but there are a lot of other threats pilling up and I'd rather have the crew as operational as possible. Feels like a missed opportunity by oda, but still, I don't think this fight is finished.

I think the biggest theory out there is Zoro and Sanji will beat them at the same time. So next chapter is assumed to be Zoro vs King with probably a two page art of king and queen losing at the end. I feel like queen will only go down after he uses the ice oni virus on him self since that was considered his ultimate creation. He also won’t likely die because sanji’s flames will be so hot to cancel out the virus after he defeats him. I think a lot of people don't really seem to get why Sanji's genetic modifications are such a big deal, why Zoro's Haoshoku coating doesn't put him a million miles above Sanji. Sanji's siblings were stronger than Germa's soldiers as children These are clone soldiers specifically selected and made to be exceptional soldiers.

Thus, the channelized this rage over Queen and used all the remaining Germa techniques that his body could come up with.
